build management & continuous integration [Jenkins & Maven]

July 15, 2013 · Arthur Barrett

A customer is using a standard toolchain for continuous integration & build management across Uniface 9 and Java projects:

  • control sources with Mercurial
  • configure Maven to build all Uniface sources
  • call Maven/build from Jenkins
  • Jenkins provides continuous integration
  • build based on a schedule or event
  • build results highly visible using web interface

They are using it live in production with Uniface 9 today (2013).
